This is a fully remote position with a pay range of $25–$30 per hour. We offer a flexible schedule, 401k matching (5%), AFLAC, 8 paid holidays, PTO with carryover, and a full paid shutdown from Christmas to New Year’s!

What You’ll Be Doing
– Independently leading month-end close cycles, including full reconciliations and financial statement production.
– Managing and troubleshooting QuickBooks Online (QBO) configurations and complex data integrations.
– Reviewing work from Bookkeeper I and II staff to ensure everything is “Drive Standard” and audit-ready.
– Providing clear coaching and technical corrections to help junior team members level up their skills.
– Preparing complex adjusting journal entries for accruals, deferrals, and amortization.
– Performing “reasonableness checks” and trend analyses to explain the “why” behind the numbers.
– Building advanced Excel schedules using pivot tables and complex formulas to solve client puzzles.
– Partnering with the Controller to update our Operations Manual and drive firm-wide efficiency.
What You Bring to the Table
– At least 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, specifically with accrual-basis accounting in multi-entity environments.
– Advanced expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and a knack for high-level cleanups.
– A background in remote, client-facing roles where you’ve translated technical accounting into “client-ready” advice.
– A proactive, fast-paced mindset with the ability to lead through influence and mentorship.
