Compliance & Tax Manager for Start-UP

About Stratvian

Stratvian is a forward-thinking professional services firm based in the Pacific Northwest, specializing in high-level tax planning, strategy, and compliance for businesses with revenues ranging from $1 million to $100 million. We are a “tax firm first” organization that prioritizes proactive advisory over reactive compliance. Our goal is to help business owners utilize the tax code smartly and efficiently while maintaining a refreshing commitment to professional efficiency for our team.

Why This Role Is Open: Our firm is experiencing exponential growth, and we are alleviating the bottleneck at our executive review level. We know the timing isn’t ideal, but we need a technical leader who can step in immediately to oversee complex compliance processes and manage workflow accuracy.

Why You Want This Job You want this job because we reject the industry’s “churn and burn” mentality in favor of reasonable hours and genuine work-life balance. We prioritize professional efficiency, meaning your schedule is realistic: expect around 50 hours a week during tax season and a standard 40-hour week the rest of the year. You will work remotely with a supportive team, earn a highly competitive salary with unique tax-advantaged incentives, and focus on strategy rather than endless grinding.

From there, you will take an Enneagram personality profile to aid in communication. Final candidates will meet with an executive team of 4. The team of 4 has brought their individual businesses together to collaborate and help business people utilize tax code smartly and efficiently.
