I support both small and mid-sized businesses. Companies with fewer than 10 employees often use my services on an ad hoc basis for policy writing, recruiting, difficult conversations, and team training.

For companies with 11-29 employees, I typically work on a retained basis for 1-3 months, focusing on handbook development, recruiting, and retention strategies.

Businesses with 30-150 employees usually sign multi-month contracts to develop recruiting and retention systems and to train management on these processes.

Small businesses are billed at a half-hour rate, billed weekly. Mid-sized companies usually engage via retained contracts with 50% upfront and the rest upon project completion. Multi-month contracts are billed at the start of each month.

I act as a leadership coach, guiding management teams to develop effective, compassionate communication skills. I observe, model, and tweak processes to ensure steady results, often incorporating studies on human communication to enhance gut instinct and decision-making.

I maintain regular check-ins and stay accessible via phone and email. I also schedule ‘white space’ between appointments to catch up and provide my clients with ongoing support, acting as a sounding board and cheerleader.

For larger companies, this includes retention strategies, system usage, policies, and handbooks, along with handling difficult conversations.

Yes. I assist with recruiting system setup, staff training, and conduct deep dives into policies and procedures. I also guide clients through difficult conversations until they are confident doing so independently.

All contracts include a non-disclosure agreement. I provide a safe space for clients to discuss sensitive issues without judgment, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

On-site visits on weekends or holidays, travel beyond a 20-30 mile radius, and advertising costs for recruiting are billed separately.

As an active member of TroopHR, I participate in leadership training, industry seminars, and non-profit events to keep my knowledge up-to-date across multiple states and locations.
